Achieve that Surfer Babe Look!

Its summer and the heat is just BA-NA-NAS! Everybody's been hyped about giving their looks a lift this heat of a climax season but a tan or a chocolatey complexion is just too much to handle for filipina girls who have been crazily using kojic soap or over dosing them selves with glutathione supplements the whole year.

So what can we actually do to give our looks a summer splash without sacrificing our skin color? Get that golden sun streaked hair! How can we achieve that without the tan lines and the stingy sun burn or be a drag to the allowance less season? Here's a few tricks I've got up in my sleeves:)

If you want to lighten your hair, you would need this:

Lemons. Yes, lemons! The acid will help strip hair of its natural hair color!:)

Step 1. Shampoo your hair and rinse, towel until 80% dry.

Step 2. Squeeze 1 whole lemon into a bowl and apply the juice onto your hair roughly like applying conditioner, we apply un evenly to achieve the sun streaks.

Step 3. with a fine toothed comb, comb your hair to remove any tangles.

Step 4. twist your hair up and cover with a cling wrap or a shower cap.

Step 5. Get your blow dryer and set it to hot and heat your hair for about 20 min.

Step 6. Rinse your hair and apply deep conditioner and leave it on for 10 mins to re store its silkiness. Rinse and towel dry.

Step 7. Once your hair is dry you would see the results of the lightening, if you want it to be lighter wait about 2 days before you re-do the lemon lemon lightening process since lemon can dry out your hair.

MY SKIN SAVER

A few people have asked me what products do I use on my face to keep it healthy and zit free. So I now reveal my skin saver. Its Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion from Japan. You can buy this online for about 17$ or if ever you're in Singapore all of their Watsons branches carry this product. I use this after washing my face and it absorbs like a dream! My skin tends to be on the dry side so I really have to moisturize and so far, this is the best product i've ever used. Try it for yourself and see the difference :)

Kisses and Electric Fuschia Lips

First of all I would like to introduce to all of you my very sweet adorable pet Kisses! She's a dachshund that my dad gave to me:) I named her Kisses cause she really likes to give kisses! you can witness it in the 2nd image below :)

I got tired of the classic red lips so I tried something different and not in style this time. I put on Electric Fuschia lipstick! Its always good to try something new and give your outfit a punch! Im wearing Christian Dior Paris in Rouge Incorruptible No transfer lip color, and it really does stand for its name! drink, eat or even wipe your lips and it wont come off! Put in on once and you wont have to re-touch for the whole day! just lovely.

Mom's Outfit #2

Im so sorry if I wasnt able to update the 80's style quickly. Been very busy, and can I just say that I am tired:)) So for mom's outfit #2 I wore this hanging black and white floral print top and this high waisted elephant slacks. Its not seen in the image above but the pants are actually see through! there's just this mini shorts thats attached in the inside. Once again my mom is the coolest haha! and I like the detailing of the pants, it has textured stripes and the fabric is very breathable. For my heels, I am wearing black suedette platform pumps from Forever21:) Im really loving vintage clothes!

I made dinner today!

So I made dinner today! garlic pasta, steak and baked potatoes. Im one fat girl haha! I set it up in our garden since we bought a new outdoor dining set:) I served dinner with white wine. ahlavit! and after that chill time with my sister. What a nice way to spend my friday night :)

Im really sad at how people would ask me indescent questions in formspring and attack the source of my happiness. Why cant they just be happy for me? It was the last straw when someone dissed and told bad things about my baby muffin Kutch. If you think that the way I feel for Kutch will change with the bullshits you told me, then sorry cause it didnt work. Im still as happy with him just without a formspring account :))

Last Saturday, I went to Eastwood with my Mom and her friends:) yes, I was that bored to tag along with my mom's lakwatsa. But lucky enough, I was able to meet with my dearest beb, Den Mendoza!:) She brought me to the tiangge and I was able to buy earrings and a couple of tops, aren't they just the cutest?:D we also watched Sucker Punch. It even gets better! after the movie, Kutch my muffin came to me hurrying from the debut he was attending. Super sweet:)

Mom's outfit #1

I love my mom for saving her old clothes! I super had fun rading through her old clothes and finding interesting and fun pieces. This was one of my mom's fave outfits. Elephant slacks with very dramatic slits at the front, bustier, and a printed short blazer. I super love this outfit! I wouldnt mind wearing it now:)

p.s: my mom is the coolest, cant believe she walked around with her belly seen! and now I question why do I get scolded for wearing sheer tops? HAHA!

DETOX

So earlier today while I was reading one of the old magazines in our living room, I came across an article about detox. Apparentley, during a detox you basically eat nothing and you only drink fresh fruit juices for 14 days. Crazy right? but it also says in the article that detox-ing once a year can do wonders for your body. It purges out toxins and you'd be feeling super great after wards. Im thinking of trying it, also for the fact that summer is near and I gotta get that bikini body haha! So, anyone care to join me in my 14 day detox?:)

So this is the dress I wore to the Ateneo Gradball. Designed and made by yours truly:) Its just a simple red bodycon dress though. Shoes are from The Ramp. 

HOT ITEM: SUNBLOCK

For my first entry of hot item, I would like to recommend Nivea Sun whitening sunblock with collagen SPF50. Wearing sunblock with atleast spf50 must be in your daily routine. To prevent darkening and uneven complexion, dab on a generous amount of sunscreen after your moisturiser. This sunblock also has a non sticky formula and collagen that wont leave your face oily and keep it young and wrinkle free. So dont forget your sunblock loves!

So last Saturday, I had a taste of high school once again at the Ateneo Gradball! Thanks Kutch, for inviting me:) Had a lot of fun with Tring Manuel, her boyfriend B and Kutch my date. I miss highschool!:( Will post the dress I wore soon!:)
